Quick & Easy Russian Salad (Ensalada Rusa)
We are going to make Ensalada Rusa or Russian salad. It is very common to see this in Spain when you visit! Spanish cuisine can be easy to make at home and extremely tasty!
Ingredients
- 500 g Potatoes
- 250 g Carrots
- 400 g Tuna
- 400 g Mayonnaise
- 50 g Peas
- Splash Sherry Vinegar
- Salt to taste
- Olives for garnish
- Red Peppers for garnish
Instructions
- Put the potatoes in a pot of water and bring up to temp
- Peel the carrots and add to the water with potatoes
- Add eggs to the water
- Once the water starts to boil, place 10 mins on the timer
- Remove the eggs after 10 mins, peel, and dice
- Check carrots and potatoes with a knife to see if done.
- Remove carrots when the knife goes easily through
- Same as carrots, peel the potatoes when cool
- Dice carrots and potatoes.
- Add eggs, carrots, to the mixing bowl
- Drain and add tuna and peas.
- Add mayonnaise, salt, and mix.
- Add potatoes last so as not to mash
- Plate and garnish to your liking!
